These races are designed for all ages and skill we try to help beginners improve skills and prepare for competition. The races are run 3D style to allow everyone a fair chance at winning. It is our intent to help everyone improve. We expect the experienced riders to help the novice riders keep safe, share your knowledge, and have a great time for horse and riders.

You may enter more than one horse, we will use your fastest time in each division for points. (If you want to keep track of which horse did what use two entry forms.)

We begin with exhibition races, followed by Pee Wee barrels, Open barrels, Youth barrels, Pee Wee poles, Open Pole bending and Youth Pole bending. Please be ready to help it move smoothly and quickly.

3D Barrels in this series begin with the fastest time in each age group fastest time sets the 1D. 2D is determined by adding 1 second to the 1D time, and 3D is 2 seconds off of the 1D time. A barrel knocked over is a disqualified run. Pee Wee barrels are not run 3D. (too few entries)

3D Open and Youth poles will be run using one second divisions.

There is however a 5 second penalty for each knocked over pole.

We will run in rain, snow, hot, cold, wind, mud, etc. but not close lightning. If you ever feel the conditions are not right for you, your child, or your horse, feel free not to race. We want to be safe, rodeos are generally never cancelled and we can’t make up cancelled nights at the arena. Stormy or Lightning Call before you haul 490-3008.
